Innovative water heating and space conditioning technologies are featured
The Center for Energy Technology is utilizing leading brands of tankless water heaters to provide continuous hot water for the facility. The high efficiency water heaters provide easy zone capabilities within the facility and hot water on demand.  The Center has the ability to test both tank and tankless water heating equipment.

The building’s heating and cooling system features a natural gas powered multi-zone heat pump.  The natural gas engine powered unit captures and uses waste heat to supplement space heating, setting it apart from electric heat pumps. Supplemental heat will be provided by a high efficiency packaged boiler system. Completing the heating and cooling system is a small packaged dehumidification system designed to remove moisture from incoming air to the building and improving the overall efficiency of the air conditioning system.
