Large Commercial/Industrial Accounts

Alagasco classifies commercial and industrial customers based on peak-day usage. Below are our definitions to assist you.

Large Commercial (LC): A non-manufacturing company with peak-day gas usage of more than 50 MCF (thousand cubic feet).  Examples include: hospitals, universities/colleges, local, state and federal buildings, etc.

Large Industrial (LI): A manufacturing company with peak-day gas usage of more than 50 MCF (thousand cubic feet). Examples include: paper mills, steel mills, manufacturing plants, etc.

Transportation: A LC or LI company using more than 100 MCF (thousand cubic feet) per day on a non-seasonal basis.
