Stop Gas Service

If you’re moving outside Alagasco's service area and wish to disconnect your gas service, please use our Stop Service Form. You’ll be asked to specify a date for us to disconnect service. Our service personnel cannot turn off your gas on weekends or holidays.

Please allow 24 hours for your request to be scheduled. The final meter reading may be estimated.

If you prefer to speak to a representative, please call 1-800-292-4008. In order to serve you more quickly and accurately, please have the following information ready when you call:

• Name of the account holder
• Alagasco account number
• Service address
• Contact number
• Alternate contact number
• Last four digits of the account holder's social security number
